Watching Dolphins.

The trip to Kratie was really exhausting. It took us the whole day in various shitty (local) buses (with no A/C) to get there. But when we stepped out the bus and saw the Mekong (our beloved Mekong)... we were just happy. Of course we just sat down at the riverside, had a beer and a smoke and wondered if our colleagues are having lunch at Mannis cantine...

Kratie is a totally sleepy place where not many tourists are coming by. Most of the tourists stop there on their way to Laos for watching the dolphins. But nobody goes there JUST for watching the dolphins and goes all the way back.

We did!
And even it was that exhausting to get there, even there was nothing else to see or to do (I mean they "closed the walkways" at 7 pm!), even we had to get up at 6am again for watching the dolphins in the morning hours - it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
